Maggie started work at 14. She had school on the side. By fluke, she won an art scholarship at 12. But her mother said no. That didn’t stop her though. She just never thought of being in business.
It was in Singapore that Maggie swam with the big fish – as a creative director. Still, she didn’t feel entirely satisfied till she’s asked more questions. Obsessed - that's how she became a strategist.
Maggie knows what it takes to stand out in a world where innovation leads. With a knack for identifying trends and cultural shifts, she's also very good at connecting what's missing in one category and borrowing it for another industry - creating brands that fill the gap.
As a brand strategist, she's especially skilled at extracting powerful and actionable insights, turning them into strategic recommendations for solving client challenges.
Maggie is a compulsive reader and a consummate learner. She's interested in just about anything. East or West? Creative-led strategy or vice versa? She's equally at home with all of the above.
She believes it’s more risky to do safe work than to risk doing good work. It's just more fun to take it seriously.
Her motivation however, has always been to help companies be the change in the world - and one with a human face ☺
She’s utterly convinced that there can be no style without substance. every job still surprises her. It’s the heart thinking that’s never boring.
Her specialities include: Brand and marketing strategy, creative copywriting, brand ideation and execution, naming, print advertising, art direction, brand architecture, styling and interiors, development and branded environments - on and offline.
